Three-day course: Valves, Actuators, & Controls 101
In this comprehensive overview of the valve industry, participants will learn how valves, actuators, controls and related products work; what they look like and how they function; applications where they are used; critical safety considerations; and maintenance issues.
Also included: Six hours of hands-on training in the HASC Workshop, tabletop exhibits, a manual and USB drive with notes and 18 PDHs (professional development hours).
Developed by the Valve Manufacturers Association, this course is suitable for entry-level industry personnel; those who seek to broaden their knowledge of the industry; or anyone who wants to take their career to another level. Participants are end users; EPC and AEC personnel; valve and actuator manufacturers and distributors; industry suppliers; and senior-level engineering students.
