National Safety Council Courses

HASC™ is a supporting chapter of the National Safety Council (NSC), bringing together two powerful safety associations to build a network of value and outstanding resources to enhance HASC’s mission to build safe workplaces by improving the quality and integrity of the workforce, while positively impacting not only the workplace, but also homes, schools, roads, and communities in which we provide, live, and play.

First Aid/CPR/AED Courses:

• ADULT FIRST AID, CPR and AED
  Designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider, this program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees on how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.

Safe Driving Courses:

• DEFENSIVE DRIVING (4 hours)*
  Most comprehensive online defensive driving program
• DEFENSIVE DRIVING ABRIDGED (2 hours)
  Primary learning points in a condensed format
• DISTRACTED DRIVING (1.5 hours)
  Designed to change driver attitude and distracted behaviors
• DISTRACTED DRIVING ABRIDGED (45 minutes)
  Primary learning points geared toward refresher training

*This online defensive driving course is not intended nor approved for motor vehicle point reduction or ticket dismissal programs. Requirements for insurance discounts vary by state. If you intend to take this course for insurance discount, you must verify with your agent or insurance company before you enroll that they will accept the DDC-PC Certificate of Completion issued by the National Safety Council.
