This course will provide training and demonstration for various types of powered and hand tools specified by Axiom Space. This 8-hour class will include hazard recognition, proper techniques, and allows the trainee to demonstrate a working knowledge of how the tools operate.

Learning Objectives:
- Become familiar with hazards involved and precautions using hand tools and hand powered tools.
- Identify and work with many of the common tools used in construction of Axiom projects.
- Cover safety aspects of saws, drills, and grinders.
- Learn the safe and proper use of tools such as hammers, chisels and punches, screwdrivers, wrenches, cutting tools, lifting and pulling tools, demolition tools, and layout and measuring tools.

The following PPE must be worn to take the class:
- Long pants
- Long sleeve shirts
- Boots (steel-toe recommended)

Trainees will be provided gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety materials.
