Many employers need health testing for a single new employee, a group of contractors, or an entire team preparing for a turnaround or project mobilization. HASC offers flexible service options so employers can choose the approach that best fits workforce volume and location.

Occupational Health Centers

Schedule individual or group appointments for hiring, employee qualification, annual program requirements, and ongoing workforce testing needs.

Clinic-based health testing provides access to medical providers, trained technicians, diagnostic equipment, and additional occupational health services that may be required during the visit.

Mobile Health Services

Bring select occupational health testing directly to your site for turnarounds, project mobilizations, large hiring events, and remote operations.

On-site testing can reduce travel, simplify workforce logistics, and minimize disruption to operations during turnarounds, project mobilizations, and hiring initiatives.

Health Testing and Screening FAQs

What occupational health testing services does HASC provide?

HASC provides audiometric testing, pulmonary function testing, quantitative respirator fit testing, drug and alcohol collections, and laboratory services. Availability may vary by location.

What is an occupational audiogram?

An occupational audiogram measures an individual’s hearing levels. Testing can establish a baseline, monitor changes over time, and support an employer’s hearing conservation program.

What is pulmonary function testing?

Pulmonary function testing, also called PFT or spirometry, measures airflow and lung capacity. It may establish baseline lung function or support medical surveillance for employees working around airborne hazards.

Is pulmonary function testing the same as respirator fit testing?

No. Pulmonary function testing measures lung performance. Respirator fit testing evaluates how well a selected respirator fits the individual and whether it maintains an effective seal.

What is the difference between qualitative and quantitative respirator fit testing?

Qualitative fit testing uses a test agent that the individual can detect. Quantitative fit testing uses specialized equipment to measure leakage into the respirator. The appropriate method depends on the respirator and applicable program requirements. HASC offers quantitative fit testing at our locations.

Does HASC provide drug and alcohol testing?

HASC provides drug and alcohol collections for employer, consortiums, the Department of Transportation (DOT), and approved third-party administrator programs. HASC also offers OmniScreening, a third-party administrator (TPA). Broader program information is available on the Drug and Alcohol Screening page.

Can HASC customize laboratory testing for workplace exposures?

Yes. Laboratory services and health panels may be coordinated based on potential workplace exposures, employer protocols, and applicable occupational health requirements.

Are mobile occupational health services available?

Yes. Select testing services can be delivered through HASC mobile units for groups, project needs, remote locations, and employer-coordinated events.
