Course Description:
This training module covers the requirements for 1) entering and working in THE DOME at PMDI; 2) the use of the Elephant Trunk and Evacuation System; 3) hazards of phosgene as well as the Phosgene Badge Program; 4) expectations of line breaks and flange positioning; 5) basic decontamination building requirements; 6) a Level III flange and understanding the assembly requirements (including how to re-tighten the flange, the re-torque protocol and what to do in the event of a phosgene release); 7) basic hose attachment and breathing air connections; 8) basics of opening airlock doors in THE DOME
