Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required for verifying that a new, replaced, or rebuilt pump is functioning within specified parameters prior to or during in-service placement. It addresses the proper actions for performing routine inspections, repairs, alterations, and refurbishing reciprocating pumps, and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur when performing these tasks.
