This class was created to prepare an employee to perform the duties of three specific “watch” functions: Confined Space Attendant (Hole Watch), Fire Watch, and Air Technician (Bottle Watch). The course is a combination of instructor-led lectures, classroom activities, and hands-on activities.  During this program, participants will be introduced to the tasks commonly associated with each specific role.  The course will address both General Industry Standards (1910.146) and (1910.252(a)(2)(iii)) along with the new Construction Standards (1926 Subpart AA) and 1926.352(e). Basic understanding of components of 1910.38 and 1910.39 will be covered.  The course will also address the Respiratory Protection Standards of both General Industry 1910.134 and the Construction Standard 1926.103.
